Why do output files not get generated?
The most common reason why output files do not get generated
is due to the lack of a Perl interpreter being installed on the computer
running the graphical interface.
Perl must also be available within your PATH variable
on Solaris and Linux systems.
On Windows systems, ".pl" should be associated
with the Perl interpreter during the installation process.
It is recommended that Perl version 5.6.1 or higher be
installed on the computer running the graphical interface. Perl 5.6.1
may be downloaded from www.activestate.com
for both the Solaris and Windows operating systems.
Perl 5.6 is always pre-installed during the operating
system installation process on MacOS X systems. (It is not necessary
to upgrade from Perl 5.6 to 5.6.1 for proper operation of CGIScripter.)
Perl is installed in the /usr/bin directory which is automatically included
within the PATH variable on MacOS X.
